The privacy policy has been updated to be compliant with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which is effective in the UK from 25th May 2018.

We strongly recommend that you read all the information provided before using any services provided by Magor Designs Limited (Magor).

Magor was founded in 1961 we operate in the business to business sector. We provide specialist services for the design and manufacture of assembly tooling to large manufacturing companies on a project basis. We communicate with and may hold personal business information e.g. name, role,
company address, works e-mail and telephone numbers of current, former and prospective clients and supply chain partners. These individuals are typically employees of large companies. Magor does not seek to collect or hold personal private data on our business partners. We assess this data to be low risk data as it is in the public domain. As such Magor will process any such data under the basis of the GDPR ‘legitimate interest’.

Magor does hold personal private data on current, former and prospective employees. Appropriate policies and safeguards are in place. Our policy is communicated to current and prospective employees and available to former employees on request – see below.

You have the option to see, request changes to or, deletion of, any personal information held by Magor in addition asking that we discontinue sending you any further communications. This can be done by either sending an e-mail to our Data Protection Officer via dpo@magordesigns.co.uk or contacting them in writing at the address at the end of this document.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT OR USE?
From time to time there may be sections in our Web Site where we may ask you to register in order to gain access to high value documents or to be able to download various items, or to make contact with Magor. Any information you provide will remain secured with Magor.

We may also hold contact information gathered through direct requests for information from you, previous business details and referral or recommendation from colleagues and research from publicly available information on the basis of legitimate business interests.

Under no circumstances will personal business data be sold or rented to any third party. Magor may, however, use your contact information to send you any information you have specifically requested or any other information or news about our company and services. Your details may be used in an aggregated form for marketing analysis of our web traffic.

HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL BUSINESS INFORMATION?
Magor may use your personal business information for the following purposes:

Magor routinely tracks how a visitor arrives at the Magor Web Site with Google Analytics, however it is not possible to and we will not attempt to gather information about other sites that have been visited prior to landing on www.magordesigns.co.uk .

The Magor Web Site uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google. Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help the web site analyse how users use the site.

WHAT IS A COOKIE?
Cookies are a common Internet technology that assign a unique identification to your computer and store the detail on your computer via a facility in the web browser. Google Analytics Cookies are used on the Magor Web Site: www.magordesigns.co.uk to collect anonymous data about your visit.

Magor may periodically provide links on our site that direct to external third-party Web Sites. We have no control over the content of other sites, nor the usage of any information they may gather. We recommend that you always review the privacy policies at any third-party sites you visit, they may not follow the same policies as us.

ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION AND DELETION
You have the right to request a copy of information that we hold about you. We will use reasonable efforts consistent with our legal duty to supply, correct or delete information about you on our files.
