Senior Technical Sales Manager

We are looking for a seasoned and established, high-performing Technical Sales Manager to help us meet our customer requirements and revenue growth targets by maintaining competitiveness with an innovative edge.

You will join an experienced multi-disciplined team assisting with the platform build necessary to carry Magor through the next phase of change and growth. The new role aligns with Magor’s 5-year strategic plan which encompasses a level of organic growth inclusive of market penetration in to new sectors.

We are looking for a motivated, ambitious and sales-focused individual who wants to work with the senior management and operational team to cohesively achieve the business goals whilst maintaining and continuing to support Magor’s pristine reputation.

Toolmaker

Due to internal growth the opportunity has arisen to appoint an Individual who can make an immediate contribution to the effective operation of our busy Toolmaking and machine building workshop. Magor’s successful and expanding engineering design and manufacturing operation currently manufacture a diverse and varied range of engineering solutions covering jigs and fixtures, consumable and replenishment components, gauges, conveyance systems up to and including robotic weld applications and special purpose machinery.

We seek an individual with a solid grounding in precision Toolmaking capabilities with a passion and drive for personal success and the ability to develop and grow in a challenging and exciting team environment.

You will be apprentice trained and qualified with a minimum or 4 years’ employment experience post apprenticeship

You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of bench, assembly and fitting techniques. Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience would be advantageous but not essential.

A craftsman by trade and performance you will be expected to work individually and as part of a team whilst maintaining very high standards of quality and adhering to precise tolerances. You will be a confident individual with an experienced edge and a  “Can Do – Make it Happen”. You will approachable person with the ability and willingness to coach and lead by example if required.

Apprenticeship Opportunity

Magor Designs continues to invest in young apprentices to help develop the skills required to meet UK manufacturers’ day-to-day engineering and automation challenges.

The company has a long established apprenticeship scheme, with the majority of the loyal and dedicated workforce having started as an apprentice over the last 40 plus years.

As a leading engineering and automation firm, we are looking to appoint an apprentice to join us, to work alongside our experienced team members and work towards achieving the NVQ3 qualification.
